Using the Ad Blocker Module
The Ad Blocker module removes all ad banners from the pages of the websites you visit. The work of the module is based on the use of special ad banner filters that are essentially a set of filtration rules. You can configure the work of the Ad Blocker module in the Adguard window.
The Protection section allows you to enable or disable the Ad Blocker module.
You can also add any site to the list of exceptions. In this case, the pages of this site will not be filtered. To add an exception, do the following:
- Open the Adguard window and go to the Protection section.
- Select the Add an exception subsection in the lower part of the screen.
- Enter the address of the necessary site and click the Add an exception button.
"Protection - Ad Blocker" subsection
If you switch to the extended interface, you will have access to the Protection - Ad Blocker subsection. Here you can enable or disable specific ad filters.
Limitations of the module
The Ad Blocker module has a single limitation - it cannot filter sites accessible through secure connections (HTTPS), since secure connections are used for transferring private information that nobody besides you can have access to.
