The user interface of Adguard supports three usage modes. The use of the extended interface and the economy mode is only recommended for advanced users.
The standard interface used by the program by default. The program works in the background mode. You can open the program window using the Adguard icon in the notifications area on the Windows taskbar.

The extended interface allows you to fine-tune the work of Adguard. The interface mode switch is located in the lower left corner of the program window.
The extended interface features additional options in "Protection" and "Settings" menus. The use of the extended interface is only recommended for advanced users of Adguard.

This mode requires less operating memory, since it uses virtually no UI. This mode is primarily intended for slow systems, such as netbooks.
You can switch to the economy mode from the Adguard context menu. Right-click the Adguard icon in the notifications area of the taskbar to open it. Use the Close Adguard but continue filtration command, as shown in the image below.
