Getting a complicated and function-packed product such as AdGuard for Windows to a release state is never easy: after each implemented fix or improvement there always seems to be yet more room for "one last touch". However, it's about time we wrapped up all cumulated updates to roll out the fresh version of our program.
In the modern world so many of us live and work under the constant deficit of time, so it's only natural that we often weigh our choice towards fast solutions to problems in almost every aspect. We use the same logic when we choose our apps, many of which have become an integral part of our everyday life. Apps that don't require our supervision or additional configuring and are capable of instantly performing their job from the get-go, have a serious edge over the competition.
We are very proud of our users, and especially of our beta testers. They are the most dedicated testers we know, but even among them there are those who stand out, those who always long for more beta versions to put their hands on :) Specifically for them we decided to introduce so-called "Nightly" builds for Windows and Android versions of AdGuard. Today's article is a very short one: I just want to let all of you know about two minor updates: for AdGuard for Android and AdGuard for Windows, respectively. They are not big enough of updates to be worthy of a full-scale post, but couldn't be left unnoticed either. Below is a short extract of the most important changes and fixes that went into the new versions.
Hello! You’d better get a hold on something because we are about to drop the biggest changelog you have ever seen! It may be overwhelming if you haven’t monitored the beta releases — we reworked Filtering log and Filter editor, gave Assistant a new look, integrated AdGuard with Windows 10 notifications center, majorly improved several extensions... The list goes on and on. Just hop in and see for yourself.
This update might not be the biggest one, in a sense it doesn’t feature any revolutionary additions or the immense number of changes. But it’s surely a unique one, and it’s because it is by far the most influenced by the user feedback. We sincerely thank everyone who has helped us!
