AdGuard for Mac

If you are on macOS Sierra or High Sierra, you must have received a notification about available Safari update (when Mojave rolls out, Safari 12 will be mandatory). No doubt that there's a lot of cool stuff inside, but we will save the praise for others and instead focus on one change that seriously concerns all AdGuard Browser Extension users: new Safari is breaking all directly downloaded .safariextz extensions. And this is bad news.

Today we want to try something different — combine two release announcements in one blog post. Main reason is, both new Mac and extension updates, while being important, are rather technical and do not provide a lot of topics to talk about without descending into using lots of developer lingo. Let's have a quick look at AdGuard for Mac v1.5.6 and AG Browser Extension v2.9.2.

Last time we promised to make AdGuard for Mac releases more frequent, remember? We stand by our words! Today we present the next version, v1.5.3. As a trade-off, this release is not as feature-heavy as the last one, but there's still some cool stuff to check out.

Did you know the fact that a mere 5 days ago it was a semi-anniversary since we’ve released the previous AdGuard for Mac version? Just wow. So, we decided that it would be a great moment to, you know, do it again :) So, welcome the new AdGuard for Mac! It has a thing or two that will surely appeal to you, I promise.

The Christmas came early this year for Adguard for Mac users - a new version comes out today :)
