AdGuard now supports EFF in the fight for civil liberties in the digital world
Electronic Frontier Foundation is a non-profit international group that protects user privacy, security, freedom of speech and other civil rights and opportunities in the digital environment.
"Founded in 1990, EFF champions user privacy, free expression, and innovation through impact litigation, policy analysis, grassroots activism, and technology development", the EFF website states.
We at AdGuard value and respect the efforts of EFF. We share the principles they uphold and endorse their desire to put the interests of people and the freedom of choice above the interests of corporations and the intention of governments to control everything. We often use their resources and tools, refer to their research and keep track of the news regarding freedom, privacy and security online on their website.
This is why we decided to support EFF. We hope that our modest donation will help the group keep achieving their goals, will draw additional attention to their struggle, and maybe will encourage other companies and individuals to join it.
