Ad-Filtering Dev Summit is back for the seventh year, and we’re thrilled to be joining eyeo as a co-host this time!
Where? eyeo’s headquarters, Berlin, Germany
When? Oct 24–25
What to expect? 2 days of tech talks, presentations, discussion panels, and fun!
AFDS is where like-minded people from all around the world come together to make the web safer and better for everyone. We've expressed our deep appreciation for this event here on our blog over the years. And every time we get an opportunity, we eagerly participate both as speakers and as active contributors to critical discussions.
In 2019 AdGuard’s CTO and co-founder Andrey Meshkov gave a presentation on the history of ad blockers, complete with memes, of course.
In 2021 Andrey talked about using DNS in content blocking.
In 2022 our focus was mainly on Manifest v3.
In 2023 several speakers from AdGuard delivered their talks covering topics such as mitigating advertising and user tracking in AI-based chatbots, the evolution of developer tools for filter lists, AGLint, adaptations of AdGuard extensions to MV3. Some of us have also participated in the Filter Lists Maintainers panel.
And this year, we will join eyeo in creating an excellent space for the community to share insights, discuss the latest trends in ad-filtering technology, and engage in meaningful discussions about enhancing online user experience.

But we’re also open to suggestions on other relevant topics.
