We know how privacy matters, that’s why we’ve been developing products to protect users from invasive tracking and annoying ads. But we don’t want to stop at just protecting your web traffic. One of the things that still needs to be done is to protect the mailbox — a place where we spend a lot of time every day. Besides spam, emails can contain annoying elements, trackers, and phishing links. Here’s our first step towards email privacy, a small but useful contribution — AdGuard Temp Mail.
How AdGuard Temp Mail protects you from spam and tracking
AdGuard Temp Mail is a free temporary email address generator designed to shield you from tracking and keep your main inbox spam-free. How does it work?
When you enter Temp Mail’s homepage, you’ll get an anonymous, disposable email address. Use it for untrustworthy services — if they share your temporary email address with third parties or send you spam, your main address will remain safe. Plus, they won’t be able to track you through email.
How to use AdGuard Temp Mail
- Open Temp Mail’s homepage.
- You’ll see an automatically generated disposable email address. To copy it, click its field.
- Paste your temporary email address onto the page where you want to use it.
- The messages you receive will appear in your inbox.
- To delete this address, click Change address and get a new one.
The first email you’ll get will be from AdGuard. There we’ll explain in detail how to use our service.
Limitations of our disposable email addresses
AdGuard Temp Mail’s addresses are temporary and aren’t stored long by design. A temporary mailbox is deleted after 7 days of inactivity. But if you keep the page open or come back in a couple of days, it won’t disappear.
It’s best not to use your throwaway email address for confidential communications or to copy important information somewhere so you don’t lose it.
What comes next
AdGuard Temp Mail is currently in beta stage. Here’s what we’re planning to add in the future:

- Security checks for links
