This article is about AdGuard Mini for Mac, which safeguards only your Safari browser. To protect your Mac entirely, download the AdGuard app

Requires macOS 12 or later.

How to install AdGuard Mini for Mac​

AdGuard Mini for Mac is a free app present in the Mac App Store. To install it on your Mac, do the following:

  1. Open the App Store and find AdGuard Mini app there.

  2. Press Get → Install → Open.

  3. In the opened AdGuard Mini window, accept EULA and Privacy policy and click Continue.

  4. Click Open settings.

  5. Check the checkboxes for all seven AdGuard extensions.

  6. To allow AdGuard Mini to work on all websites, click the AdGuard for Safari extension and then Always Allow on Every Website....

  7. In the notification that appears, click Always Allow on Every Website... again.

After you complete these steps, AdGuard Mini for Mac will start functioning in Safari.

How to uninstall AdGuard Mini for Mac​

To uninstall AdGuard Mini for Mac, do the following:

  1. Quittez l'application.

  2. Cliquez sur Safari dans le menu du coin supérieur gauche.

  3. Cliquez sur Paramètres… → Extensions. You will see a list of extensions, AdGuard Mini has seven.

  4. Uncheck all checkboxes and press Uninstall below any of them.

  5. In the notification that appears, press Show in Finder.

  6. Right-click AdGuard Mini and choose Move to trash.

    AdGuard Mini for Mac will be removed from your device.
