Installing AdGuard on older OS versions
If your device runs an older operating system, you may not be able to install the latest version of AdGuard. If this is the case, you can download an earlier, compatible version of the app using the links below.
Older versions of the app may not include the latest features and may no longer receive updates.
Android
AdGuard Ad Blocker for Android and Android TV require Android 9 or later.
If your device runs an older Android version, you can install an earlier version of the app:
Download the .apk file and install the app as usual.
To install the .apk file, you may need to allow installation from unknown sources in your Android settings.
iOS
AdGuard Ad Blocker requires iOS 15.4 or later.
Apple does not allow installing older app versions manually. If your device runs an older iOS version, AdGuard may not be available for installation.
macOS
Starting with AdGuard for Mac v2.18 beta, the minimum supported system version is macOS 12 Monterey.
If your Mac runs an older version of macOS, install one of the following releases:
macOS 10.9 and older (64-bit only) https://agrd.io/macos-10-9
macOS 10.12 https://agrd.io/macos-10-12
macOS 10.13–10.14 https://agrd.io/macos-10-13-10-14
macOS 10.15–11 https://agrd.io/macos-10-15-11
Download the dmg file and install the app as usual.
Windows
Starting with AdGuard for Windows v8.0 requires Windows 10 or later.
If you are using an older Windows version, you can install one of the following releases:
Windows XP https://agrd.io/windows-xp
Windows 7 https://agrd.io/windows-7
Windows 8 and 8.1 https://agrd.io/windows-8-8-1
Download the .exe file and install the app as usual.
AdGuard Mini for Mac (formerly AdGuard for Safari)
AdGuard Mini for Mac requires Safari 15 or later (macOS 12 Monterey).
If your device cannot run a newer Safari version, try installing beta builds of AdGuard Mini through TestFlight:

TestFlight builds are available for a limited time.
If your system uses an older Safari version, you can try installing one of the earlier releases:

Older Safari versions may not support modern content blocking API. If possible, we recommend updating your browser or operating system to the latest version supported by your device.
