How is DNS protection different from browser protection?
DNS protection works with domains. It can stop your device from connecting to advertising, tracking, and malicious domains, but it can’t see the layout or individual elements of a webpage. In practice, this means some ads may slip through, and blocked ads can leave blank spaces.
Browser protection works directly with webpages in Samsung Browser and Yandex Browser. It applies more precise filtering rules and hides elements left behind after an ad is blocked.
In short: DNS protection works in more places, browser protection works more precisely. That’s why they work best together.
