AdGuard doesn’t start automatically after reboot
If you reboot your device and AdGuard doesn’t start automatically right after, try doing the following:
Check the Launch AdGuard at system startup setting, located in the General settings tab. If it's enabled, turn it off and then back on just to be safe.
In some cases, apps won't work properly in the background due to the Android OS optimization function, also called “battery save mode”. This function force-stops apps working in the background. Usually, to avoid the background app termination, you need check the launch permissions in the System Settings of your Android device and reconfigure background activity restrictions for apps. Note that this path can be slightly different for each device manufacturer or version of Android OS.
We compiled instructions for most of the available versions in our Knowledge Base, check these out if you encounter difficulties.
