AdGuard consumes too much battery resource
AdGuard itself doesn’t consume much battery resource. But because a lot of other apps’ traffic is going through it, the system often attributes all this traffic to AdGuard. Subsequently, the system decides that AdGuard is responsible for much more battery resource consumption than it is in reality. To view real battery consumption stats, open AdGuard and go to Statistics (second icon from the right in the bottom row) → Battery usage.
If the numbers there are too high, try following:
Disable extra filters in Settings (right-most icon in the bottom row) → Filtering → Filters. Only Base, Mobile, and your language-specific filters are absolutely necessary, the rest can be disabled.
Disable DNS protection in Protection → DNS protection.
Disable HTTPS filtering in Settings → Filtering → Network. Note that this is the last resort that will greatly affect the filtering quality.
