Is AdGuard for Mac compatible with iCloud Private Relay?
No, AdGuard for Mac and iCloud Private Relay can’t work together.
When iCloud Private Relay is enabled, Safari encrypts network traffic before it reaches the system level where AdGuard filters it. Because of this, AdGuard cannot block ads or perform DNS filtering for Safari traffic. To ensure filtering works correctly, AdGuard applies a system routing rule that automatically disables iCloud Private Relay.
If you prefer to keep using iCloud Private Relay, you can:
Use AdGuard for Safari instead (works as a browser extension), or
Turn off AdGuard for Mac protection (click the AdGuard icon in the menu bar and disable Protection).
