Conflict with VPN or antivirus
Click the AdGuard icon in the menu bar, then click the gear icon.
Select Preferences....
Go to the Network tab and click Applications….
Find your antivirus app in the list and uncheck it.
If you are on macOS Big Sur and use an antivirus or a VPN alongside AdGuard, you can try switching to the Automatic Proxy mode or contact support for help.
