Antivirus shows a compatibility error with AdGuard
AdGuard may conflict with an antivirus, leading to compatibility warnings. To fix this, try the following steps:
Add both programs to each other’s exclusions:
Add
AdGuardSvc.exe and Adguard.exe to the exclusion list in your antivirus. These files are located by default in C:\Program Files\AdGuard.Go to Settings → General Settings → Advanced Settings. Find the option Exclude apps from filtering by their full path. Add the path to your antivirus processes, for example:
C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Smart Security\x86\ekrn.exe. Separate multiple paths with a semicolon.Go to Settings → Network and uncheck Use WFP network driver, then reboot your computer. Note that this may cause ads to appear in apps from the Microsoft Store.
Go to Settings → General Settings → Advanced Settings and check the Use redirect driver mode checkbox.
In Settings → Network, change the driver to SockFilter.
