The app suddenly stops with the “Something went wrong” error
If you encounter a “Something went wrong” error in AdGuard for Windows, follow these steps to fix it:
Restart the app. This step can resolve issues by re-establishing the connection between app components or fixing an error within the AdGuard service.
Reboot your PC.
Reinstall the app if restarting doesn’t help. First, back up your settings: Go to Settings → General Settings → Export settings.
Then, follow the instructions in our Knowledge Base to reinstall AdGuard.
If none of the above methods help, collect your logs and send them to our support team at support@adguard.com.
