Make sure the following recommended filters are enabled:
AdGuard Base filter
AdGuard Tracking Protection filter
AdGuard Social media filter
AdGuard Cookie Notices filter
AdGuard Popups filter
AdGuard Mobile App Banners filter
AdGuard Widgets filter
AdGuard Other Annoyances filter
If AdGuard protection and recommended filters are enabled and you still see ads, try the following steps one by one:
Disable all ad blockers except AdGuard.
Go to Settings → Network → HTTPS filtering and enable Filter HTTPS protocol. On the test page, check that HTTPS filtering is on. If it’s not, take a screenshot to send to the support team.
Make sure that your browser is filtered: go to Settings → Network → List of filtered applications. If it’s not on the list, add it by clicking the
+ icon.Try another browser with AdGuard enabled. Also, check in incognito mode to rule out browser cache or extension conflicts.
If you are using any other apps that can control Internet traffic (such as firewall, antivirus, third-party proxy), go to Settings → General Settings → Advanced Settings and check the Use redirect driver mode checkbox, then click Save.
If you’re using an antivirus along with AdGuard, make sure both programs are added to each other’s exclusions:
Add
AdGuardSvc.exe and Adguard.exe to the exclusion list in your antivirus. These files are located by default in C:\Program Files\AdGuard.Go to Settings → General Settings → Advanced Settings. Find the option Exclude apps from filtering by their full path. Add the path to your antivirus processes, for example:
C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Smart Security\x86\ekrn.exe. Separate multiple paths with a semicolon.If nothing helped, contact support and describe the steps you have already taken so we can help you faster.
