Conflict with VPN or antivirus
If you encounter problems in simultaneous work of AdGuard and your antivirus or VPN software, try doing the following:
You can add antivirus to exclusions in AdGuard Preferences. Press AdGuard icon in the menu bar → Settings icon → Preferences... → Network → Applications, find your antivirus app in the list and uncheck it.
If you are on macOS Big Sur and use an antivirus or a VPN alongside AdGuard, follow the instructions from a dedicated article in our Knowledge Base.
