AdGuard for Safari v1.11.24: The changes ahead
Autumn brings changes, and this year is no exception. These changes can be perceived as good or bad, depending on one’s point of view. Dive in and see for yourself!
First off, let us present the updated AdGuard for Safari v1.11.24. As always, it blocks ads on your favorite browser and keeps all types of annoyances away. Second off, the sad news is that we will cease supporting macOS 11 and older operating systems after this update. Third and final, the good news is that a majorly revamped and renamed version of the app for macOS 12 and newer is currently in development. This is why we are applying our resources to developing the new app, instead of maintaining less sophisticated constructs.
AdGuard for Safari v1.11.24 will remain functional on macOS 11, even without further updates. If you’re considering updating to a newer OS, getting access to an ad-blocking tool with advanced features could be a deciding factor.
While we’re at it, let us remind you of some old news: AdGuard has a Testflight channel, where you can find the apps currently undergoing beta testing, and join in.
How to install Testflight
If you don’t have Testflight, you will need to download the app first from the App Store before you can access AdGuard’s public beta channel. Here is how you can do it:
1. Download the TestFlight app from the App Store on your Mac device.
2. Click this beta public link.
3. Сlick *View in TestFlight*, then click *Install*.
As always, we are waiting for your feedback! If you find a bug or have a question or an idea for improvement, please let us know on GitHub.
